PIN GRADING

All of our pins are handmade and hand polished, so some flaws are unavoidable. We seek your kind understanding on this! 

 

Standard (A Grade): 

Very minor flaws, almost unnoticeable under normal light conditions. Flaws may consist of:

• Light surface scratches or scuffing on metal plating or enamel
• Small nicks in metal plating
• Very small or unnoticeable air bubbles
• Very minor enamel overfill or underfill

Minor flaws which are slightly more noticeable under normal light conditions. Flaws may consist of: 

• Moderate surface scratches or scuffing on metal plating or enamel
• Moderate nicks in metal plating
• Very minor spots of tarnished metal
• Very minor enamel overfill or underfill
• Very small enamel spots on metal plating.
• Small air bubbles
• Tiny spots or specks of dust
• Some misplaced glitter

Still looks good as a wearable item. Noticeable flaws under normal light conditions that may consist of: 

• Noticeable surface scratches or scuffing on metal plating or enamel
• Multiple nicks in metal plating
• Moderate unevenness metal polishing or plating
• Small parts of tarnished/ uncoated metal.
• Noticeable unevenness in enamel coating at certain angles.
• Minor enamel overfill or underfill
• Noticeable enamel spots on metal plating.
• Noticeable air bubbles
• Noticeable spots or specks of dust
• Misplaced glitter
